Flowers for Mother's Day
Mother’s day (May 9th, for all of us procrastinators!) is a celebration of motherhood.
And there is no better gift than a beautiful bouquet of fresh spring flowers for Mother’s Day. They bring to mind the start of a new season in life, the beautiful vibrant colors, the fresh air of spring, and the nurturing and fresh growth that comes every year. All of these are perfect synonyms for motherhood.
There are many historical celebrations and gifts for motherhood. In Europe, children who served in houses were given the day off to visit their families. The children would pick wild flowers on the way and give them to their mothers.
Imagine mom’s eyes light up, and the glow that will burn from within every time she sees (and smells) her beautiful Mother’s day gift sitting in a vase on the kitchen table.
